Account & data deletion
You can delete your Shall We Dog? account and game data in either of the two ways below. · 한국어
Option 1. Delete in the app
- Open the Shall We Dog? app.
- Tap the gear icon at the top of the screen.
- Tap in the small line at the bottom.
- Tap it once more to request deletion. Your server data is then deleted. If the phone is not signed in, there is no data on our servers, so this page opens instead.
Option 2. Ask by email
If you have deleted the app or cannot open it, please ask by email.
- Send an email to hello@shallwedog.com.
- Use the subject “Account and data deletion request”.
- In the message, tell us your device (iPhone or Android) and your Game Center or Google Play Games nickname. If you ordered a custom dog, please also include the order number or the order number on your store receipt.
We may ask a few more questions to confirm it is you. Once confirmed, we delete your data and let you know by email when it is done.
What is deleted (server)
- Account information (Game Center or Google Play Games sign-in details)
- Custom dog re-downloads (finished files)
- Custom order and production records, and any order photos still kept
- Device information used to send app notifications
What remains
- Game data on this device stays, so you can keep playing. To remove it from the device too, delete the app.
- Even if you delete your account, transaction records required by law (order, payment and consent records — not photos or finished dogs) are unlinked from your account, kept separately for the required period (5 years; 3 years for complaint and dispute records) and then deleted.
- Backups for recovery (order and account information, without photos) keep a copy for up to 30 days, then it is deleted automatically.
If you played without being signed in, there is no account on our servers, so deleting the app also deletes the data on the device. If you ask by email, we delete within 5 days of receiving your request and let you know when it is done. Deleted data cannot be restored. For details, see the Privacy Policy.
